Dogs at the Gate

Two of the most important aspects that build a healthy relationship between dog and owner are trust and respect.

Here, the dogs wait at the gate until I release them, either by their name or by the release word “okay”.

The dogs are trusting me to take control of the situation rather than taking control themselves and barging through the gate first.

Harry with car

Harry is an extremely reactive dog and is triggered by moving objects. This can be anything from a passing cyclist to a bird flying in the distance.

Here, I have taught Harry a new behaviour (sit and wait), to replace the old undesirable behaviour (him chasing the car).

Harry the Romanian Rescue

I would like to introduce my own dog, Harry!

He is a Romanian rescue who came to me with a variety of behavioural problems.

As a dog trainer, I believe patience is key. I have had Harry for over a year now and I still continue his training. He has come a long way, but we still have a lot of work to do.

This is one of his favourite tricks!
